Hello from another newbie...

Hi everyone! I just stumbled on this site today. I've never been a member of any forum, much less one that is medically themed, but what's to lose? You all seem like a supportive bunch.:)
Up until last October I was a perfectly healthy, active, normal-in-every-way working mom. Then the symptoms started...heavy, fatigued feeling in my right arm, then leg, then other arm and leg, then back, neck, face, everywhere- all in about 3 weeks! Muscle twitches, tingling in hands and feet, sometimes other places. Cramped, tired jaw and cheek muscles- just smiling can be misery. Shakey hands, lips, tongue- like miniature tremors. Some days are worse, some better.
I've been to 2 different neurologists, had tons of tests- and all came back normal. The neurologists not only can't diagnose me, they don't even want to see me! They tell me the normal tests are "good news." For me, good news would be knowing what's wrong!
Are there any others out there with undiagnosed/undiagnosable neurological conditions? How do you cope with the uncertainty of having a problem, but not knowing if it's going to get better or worse?
Sorry for the ultra-long post. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!!!

Welcome to you both,

There are many people searching for a diagnosis.

My heart goes out to you.

I know what it means to finally have an understanding for the things going wrong with your body.

Flower patch, I have to wonder about some type of provisioning when I read you post. And don't worry about the length. Mine are way too long for most readers, probably. It's each individual's choice to post what they want and each person's choice if they want to read.

I want to suggest you keep a journal of you symptoms, activities, pain scale, sleep patterns, diet, drs names and numbers so you can refer back to it.

Yes, it is good that the known tests are normal. That's always good news. It will still help when things are ruled out.

It took me four years together diagnosed properly. It did help me to know.

I pray you get a diagnosis soon.

There's lots of info here. So take your time and use the "SEARCH" button above. It might help to find things.

Keep us posted.
