Dear Friends,

I just want to say thank you again to all of you for your support and prayers during my mother's last 2 months of her life.

I appreciated having friends like you to talk to and cry with at the end of each trying day.

My mother was such a rock of inspiration and encouragment for me in my life. I will truly miss her.

I have recieved many emails from many of you asking about where you can send flowers or cards.

There was no service given at this time. My mother had requested to be cremated and had left us special instructions as to what she what like done with her ashes. All the family had the opportunity to come and see her before she got too bad, so we will have a small service for her and my father later.

If you feel you would like to give something, I ask you to please contribute to my walk for cancer that I will be doing in October. I will be doing this walk in memory of her.

You were a special love to your Mom Peggy, and to us. We have been blessed to have you for a friend and allow us to share your heart ache and give our support and prayers to you in any way we could.

It was a sinking feeling first hearing of your Mom and so many prayers for things to be hopeful. Your walk this year will have each one of us in your breeze as you fly on wings of an Angel.

My aunt passed away last Friday afternoon- her wishes were very similar to those of your mother. Cremation and a simple reception is what my cousin is planning.

Prayers and warm thoughts go out to you and your family.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am about your mom. I remember reading an earlier post of yours and it was obvious how much you loved her. I, too, had to care for a parent (my dad) as he was dying, and it was without a doubt the most difficult thing I have ever had to do. I can definitely empathize with what you are going through and just want to send you a big hug--from one daughter to another.
