MY NAME IS JAN, I HAVE HAD WHAT I WAS TOLD WAS AN ESSENTIAL TREMOR FOR 26 YEARS. DIAGNOSED WHEN I WAS THIRTY. DIAGNOSIS WAS MADE BY SEVERAL SPECIALISTS. RECENTLY THIS YEAR STARTED TO GET WORSE (THE TREMOR) MY NEUROLIGIST TRIED ME ON STELEVO 100 WHICH MADE ALL SYMPTOMS DISAPPEAR. HE DID A MRI OF MY SPINE DUE TO SOME PAIN I WAS HAVING AND FOUND THAT I HAVE A HEAD TILT TO THE RIGHT SIDE WITH SOME ASYMMETRY OF THE STERNOCLEIDOMASTOID MUSCLES. THE QUESTION NOW ARISES OF WHETHER i HAVE A DOPAMINE RESPONSIVE TYPE DYSTONIA OR POSSIBLE EARLY STAGE PARKINSONS. I AM GOING FOR A SECOND OPINION, BUT HOW WILL THEY BE ABLE TO DETERMINE THIS? DOC PUT ME ON REQUIP 1MG 3 TIMES DAILY, THIS IS ALL I TAKE AND MY TREMOR HAS PRETTY MUCH DISAPPEARED. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
