43 yr old female MRI trouble continued

I woke up in the middle of the night and felt need to get MRI report and look at it again. Not on my lumbar one, but my thoracic report, they noted facet degenerative disease and ligamentum flavum thickening in my lower lumbar. I looked this up and it seems to me that this is where the neurosurgeon got diagnosis of spinal stenosis?? Kind of strange not noted on my lumbar report but at least I found it and was able to make sense of it...I think. Just want to get better and WORK AGAIN! LIVE AGAIN!

I wonder why it wasn't on the report? Unfortunately, the facet degenerative disease isn't going to get any better -- it's going to probably get worse, since it's degenerative. :( It might stabilize - and stay the same. Who knows? That's the trouble with these spines of ours.

I wish you the very best! Take care of yourself. God bless. Hugs, Lee ;)

Trying to figure this out!!

I don't know why it was posted on thoracic report and not lumbar. I have lawyer helping me with SSI and the diagnosis from the neurosurgeon of bulging/herniated disc, spinal stenosis and facet disease will help my case but to put my mind at ease, I need to find out if they diagnosed spinal stenosis based on the finding of ligamentum flavum thickening in lower lumbar? I know SSI will read report and I want to understand it before they start throwing comments my way. I've spent HOURS researching everything because I want as much knowledge as possible. Does anyone know of site that you can upload a photo on??

Yes -- I just put "ligamentum flavum" in my Google Search engine, and up came a list of articles, but one had pictures -- it showed them right there on the list!

Then I clicked on the one that it showed on the list, and WOW -- there were ALL KINDS of pictures!!!

So just type it in your search engine, and I'm sure it will come up and you'll see pictures -- then just click on it, and it will take you there!!!

Hugs, Lee
