Happy Easter

I just love these eggs... that turquoise is just beautiful.

The pastels are cheery and at the same time gentle.

I love that the eggs are in a bowl nestled in the grass.

Happy Easter to you Mari, and to everyone here!

I love the eggs in the basket also. I wish I had a way to save that picture.

It seems to bring me peace. Not sure why. Its just so beautiful.

I love it. I love this time of year. I was born the day before easter.

So its a special time. I am sorry this year didn't fall that way.

Here's how:
  • Right click on the picture - you should get a pop up menu
  • Choose "Save image as" - you should have a save-file dialog open up.
  • In this dialog, choose the location on your computer to save the file. (I usually choose the desktop so i can find it easily. then i can always move it later if i want to.)
  • Make sure to click the "Save" button in the save dialog, to save the file.

Easter Eggs

Hi,

When I was a kid we colored eggs with one of those kits you can still buy in the grocery store.

At some point --- probably early Easter morning when we were sleeping -- Mom would hide the eggs and we would search for them. She was careful to make some eggs easy to find and others hard.

Then we went to mass (I played the organ as a teenager in the tiny church) and she made ham for lunch.
Usually, later in the day she made something with the peeled eggs --- egg salad maybe.

That sounds like such a warm and harmonious family ritual Mari

That is a tradition I carried over to my own family.

We colored and I hide eggs each year. Some years the boys didn't
find one of the eggs. And I had a stinky house till it got found.

But it still was fun.
