Dark Backgrounds with White Text Doubled?
 

I am very confused about this and don't know what to do. It seems only my right eye sees normally. My left eye sees text on a dark background as double vision. It confuses me as nothing else is doubled. It's like vertical double vision only with the dark backgrounds and light text, anything else is fine? What is this? It's kinda scaring me.

I have the exact same problem and i have no idea why. My right eye is basically fine i have found through my own test of keeping my left eye closed and looking at things. my left eye has extreme double vision no matter how hard i try to correct it and focus

i get my double vision only when i read text on certain things like when im driving and i read a billboard and i always see a vertical ghost imagine. i REALLY notice it at night when i try read my cable box or microwave timer i have an extreme double vision vertical ghost image then. but like you said its really noticable with dark backrounds and light text

its really driving me crazy because with both eyes open it tends to look double and it sucks. i dont see double with any other object

ive been to two optometrist and a nuero ophthalmologist who insist my eyes are fine and its all in the brain. i have no idea if this will ever correct itself ive had it for a year and im ****** about it.

one other thing i notice is when i try to read white text with a black backround close up on my computer screen it tends to move back and forth on me

i also have constant flashing vision. im pretty much almost convinced i have damage to my occitapal lobe thats really bad or permanent because thats where i hit my head and thats the main issue im having in my recovery is vision issues

but anyway ive been to multiple doctors who say my eyes are fine i wonder if its worth going to ANOTHER doctor to try see.

what are you going to do about it?

I am going to an opthamlogist to correct this. I have had astigmatism for a long time and I think it just needs corrected. It's worth a try.

The triple street sign at night thing I have and the doubled bright text on a black background I have as well. Lights on a dark piece of equipment are doubled.
