Anyone tried "cold laser" therapy?
Hi all...
Anyone tried cold laser therapy for fibro and other nerve pain issues? Love to hear thoughts from anyone who has experience with it or info on it! Thanks Lisa |
Yes...:D
My chiro used it for my chronic myofascial pain from TOS/RSIs. When the cost comes down more I plan to buy one for here at home. I can't comment on direct or severe nerve pain, but for soft tissue, joints, other painful spots (triggerpoints), even Plantar Facisitis, it worked instantly for me. Shoulder pain - 20 sec and gone, elbow pain zap and gone, low back same , usually only a single tx for most of those. Plus with good chiropractic care, any misalignments that may be related to the pain can be resolved. |

In my quick search I am seeing that they are around 3k...is that what you are seeing for price also? Lisa |
For the better brands and a decent size for coverage, yes.
You might also look into near/far infrared (aka FIR) / jade mats if you have whole body pain/symptoms. Laser would be difficult to do for mostly whole body issues, but the FIR and jade type mats or lights might work better in those cases. A little more outside the mainstream but who knows maybe it will help. Ask about a trial time or returns if no results etc. |

I haven't read the details about your pain or symptoms, but for my chronic RSI/TOS/CMP, my chiro would use a combo of LLLT (laser), IF stim, ultra sound, then any adjustments as needed, and NIMMO or soft tissue/trigger point techniques.
