Prisms, who knew?

Today, I went to the eye doctor and he prescribed me a prism to retrain my lazy eye, boy do I see clear with the test prism he stuck on my glasses! It's great. No ghosting on text anymore. 1 week on the test prism, then I have to call him to confirm it's working out. I really am excited! :)

how long do you have to wear it for? will it fix you permanently in a few weeks?

Well I have had a lazy eye since my childhood, so for a while I had ghosting but kinda ignored it. I was prescribed a prism to correct the lazy eye from moving down. It's working and no more ghosting. And I am not sure for how long, I will ask that question when I get back to the eye doctor next week.
