It's been a While
Hi,
It's been a couple of years since I've been a member of this community. Used to go by ~GladysD~. I still have MS. Been formally diagnosed back in October 2007. I also have some new dx's of anxiety state:unspecified and Depressive disorder, not elsewhere classified. Let's see, since I've been here, '09/'10(?), I have been divorced since '10. My mom passed on from ovarian cancer back in '10, I've been working part-time, have been raising my three son's. One of which also has a neurological disorder-developmental delay seems to be the label(I think). Been busy watching them play sports and grow up. They are still young. I still have RRMS. I decided to stop MS meds, altogether. Not a fan of the notion of moving to Tysabri. And this is a choice I choose to live with. Avonex left me with my first ON flare in 10 years. And After years with the Copaxone needle, I just could stand the injection site reactions. But other than that...I'm feeling rather healthy, all things considered ;) Took up yoga over a year ago. And my job, theres a lot of being on my feet and heavy lifting that I've been enjoying. Good to come back to a place I feel safe and secure. Had taken time out while I was going through everything. Looking forward to meeting new faces and catching up with any old buddies that may still be around this board. ~F~ |
