Cervical spine
I had been getting pains on my back neck and giddiness followed by reeling of head and nausea. An X-Ray of both oblique views of cervical spine was done and test report was that the posterior osteophytic impingement of the neural foramina is noted on either side at C5-C6 level. Can anyone tell me if it is serious and what is the treatment for this spinal disorder.

Hello madhuchanda
So sorry you are having cervical trouble. I can relate..... an xray isn't good enough for a full evaluation. You do need the MRI, and a good neurologist to evaluate you. This kind of pain is no fun. Be assertive and keep a pain journal for your appointment. Your PCP can give you an referral to a neurologist or neuro surgeon. Anytime there is nerve inpingement in the spinal canal, it is worth investigating. I hope you can find the help you need. ginnie:hug:
