Back from neuro
I saw my neuro today.
She wasn't too concerned with the breathing issues. I have it figured out now, at least how to describe it. When I'm really focused on something, it's like I forget to breathe, then I get dizzy and remember to  But my leg pain, eye pain and facial pain are all a lot worse. So she's upping one of my meds to help with the facial pain and there's nothing else we can do at this point. I have to go get more blood work next week and go back to the neuro in a month. |
I think we all have that problem, forgetting to breath, once in awhile.
I know I do. Other than that, it sounds like you're in a wait and see pattern. Welcome to the club. I hope the up in meds helps to make your pain go away. |
I sometimes get that "forgot to breathe" feeling. When I am at high elevations (4,000 feet above sea level or more) it becomes much, MUCH worse. I also seem to stop breathing in my sleep when ever I go into REM sleep. It is still called sleep apnea, but it is not the obstructive kind.

Yeah, I've been in a holding pattern since about June of 08. Not a whole lot we can do, just treat the symptoms.
It's very frustrating right now, but I just have to learn to cope again. Seems like I get used to my new "normal" and then something new pops up. |
i'm glad your dr is listening and trying to help with sx's.
when i'm bending over my big stomach i tend to hold my breath and then get short of breath...duh |
