Introducing Me
 

My name is Tish. I'm 47 years old and I have various health problems. I have joined a lot of different groups lately and I have also deleted myself from those groups. I understand that people have opinions and I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with other people decide that what I am feeling is up for correction or should be ignored. I am looking forward to being apart of this group. I didn't know that it existed. :)

How do I know if my posts are being posted? I keep looking and I can't find anything. I was hoping that this would be easy and it would not be one more thing to confuse me.

As a new member you get a message that your posts will have a slight lag as they are moderated. The only posts that are not approved are ones that violate the guidelines which you can read here: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/showthread.php?t=1293

What are your health problems, we can help you find a forum here that may be helpful.

I hear you, about having 'feelings' corrected and being ignored. I had a similar issue, somewhere else, on-line. Not here, however. It's important, to feel validated and 'heard'. I get that! ;)

Hope you find the support you need, here, with whatever you've got going on medically.

I'm a bit embarrassed by my list: Arthritis, Asthma, Diabetes, Diabetic Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Sleep Apnea, Degenerative Disc (Neck & Lower Back), Emphysema, Lupus, Lupus Seizures, Meniere's Disease, Myocarditis (Heart Problems) Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Relapsing Polychondritis. That's about it that I can remember. Oh yeah and I'm working on not smoking. I have to keep you posted about that.

I hope that I answered this. I'm sure that I will get the hang of this soon.
