Cuts & Bruises

I am wondering if this is normal with PCS.Is it normal for a cut or bruise to take forever to heal with PCS?I had a bruise on my leg and it took a month to go away (was not bad bruise)Then if I get a cut on my finger it takes forever to go away.Any input would be appreciated.:grouphug:

I don't think it's related

I don't think it's related to PCS, but maybe it could be a medication you're on?

Agree, blood thinners in particular (Coumadin (warfarin), Plavix, etc), including aspirin can cause this. I take 81mg aspirin a day and notice bruises happen easier and take longer to heal.

Hi, It may or may not be related to pcs, it may or may not be related to medication,

but i think the issue could be the stress the body is under. The body takes longer to heal when its under stress and I guess this goes for cutts and bruises aswell.

I noticed the exact same things when my symptoms were at their peak.,
