Change in Body Odor?

I have noticed this shortly after my head injury accident.I have never had body odor before playing sports etc.Now I do not sweat but I have a body odor on my feet and under arms if I forget to put oils on my feet or deodorant under arms. Those are the only places that have odor lol.

Nobody else can smell it but me.(I know I asked my family lol)I am thinking it is the chemical change in brain resulting in body?I just wanted to ask around to see if anyone else has this problem or if it might be related to my PTSD?I know it is something because I noticed it right after accident.Any feedback is appreciated.:grouphug:

Various meds can change the way your body excretes moisture etc. I can sweat up a storm and not smell put other times, with a bit of stress from over-stimulation, I smell horrible.

I don't know it there is anything that can be done.

It is a symptoms that just stinks.

My best to you.

When I mentioned this I was told that a head injury can affect the hormone balance which can lead to excess sweating and change in body odour. Mine settled down after a few months and hasn't bothered me since.

Hope yours resolves soon

More sensitive to smells?

Probably a hormonal change but you could also be having an enhanced sense of smell. I have bouts of super smelling where I smell things that my husband can't.

It could be hormones or stress sweat. I had different scents since accident and was on no medication.

Perspiration that's triggered by emotion is most likely to occur on your face, in your armpits, on your palms and on the soles of your feet. But how much you sweat and even the way your sweat smells can be influenced by your mood, your diet, some drugs and medical conditions, and even your hormone levels.

Because it's almost impossible to define normal sweating and body odor, try to learn what's normal for you. That will help you pinpoint any unusual changes.

Yeah me as well, it may just be because I am in the middle of puberty right now, or because I am so bored I actually notice

lol you made me laugh and I am having a bad night with anxiety so it came at a good time :) it's good to have a sense of humor. I can't believe again just when I was sure I was the only one with a certain symptom, someone else comes out and says they have it
