Good info
Thanks and the link works fine.
Good info here. |
Great stuff. They do contradict themselves a few times.. saying pineapple is good at the beginning then bad towards the end. I also disagree with honey being unhealthy. If you eat local honey it is actually considered a superfood and very healthy for you. Now regular processed honey yes that is unhealthy. Other than that it is a decent reference.

pineapple
I noticed the pineapple contradiction too.
And local honey is great. We have some to harvest from some now empty hives in the back. Hope you find your way to the herbal tea life. All for now pm |
The PDF Adobe Acrobat Reader presentation downloads easily. A PowerPoint Presentation would likely be more difficult but this is not a PowerPoint Presentation.
She is a bit extreme in some of her claims and suggestions. The alternative grains are a bit difficult. The Wild Rice is a misnomer. No such thing. Wild Rice is just a few varieties of grass seed. It is difficult to get the extra dose of B-12, B-Complex, etc, without taking supplements. Pineapple is a great digestive enzyme food. The sugar intensity of the banned fruits would require eating a lot of the fruit to be overdoing the sugar. Eating these sweet fruits is a good way to avoid other sugar intensive foods. Many believe that satiating a sweet tooth is beneficial if it can be done with something like sweet fruits. They are far better than soda or juices, especially if the fruit has any decent fiber. But, it is a great presentation and worthwhile to kick start eating brain healthy. |
Good Link
I agree with above comments but I have a problem with the eggs and dairy. That is from TBI and change in hormones. If I woke up everyday and ate an omelette!I would be screwed starting my day!Just saying...They neglected that issue in my eyes.

If you disagree with the Pineapple in the diet, just replace it with Bromelein supplement - inexpensive, off the shelve in NeighborCare or other up to date Pharmacies, chew a few daily, no problem - just follow the directions for the dietary aid.
Every diet can go thru adjustments as needed - look over the proffered choices and adjust with what is offered, its not a hard choice to use from those given. The presentation is well done. Best Wishes. :grouphug: |
