I feel so hopeless

I get very depressed from the pain also. Is that normal? Is it normal to dwell on the pain all day? I cry when my body works against me and wont let me do what use to be simple tasks. How do you keep on being a Mother and take care of the kids and household when you can barely function and take care of yourself. I am new and I have so many questions. I need to know how others are living with this and being treated. Something has to change for me.

You will have to realize that doctors can be limited in what they know about neuropathy. You will have to take up this task, and
be your own detective. This forum has many resources to help you do this. Please do a bit each day, and soon you will understand more..

I hear your frustration. Been there and still there at times. I think it is very normal to feel depressed when you are in pain, especially on the really painful days.

Hang in there. On days that are particularly bad I try to count the blessings I do have, such as all of my family, friends, my faith in God, my home and etc.
