My Daughter's Temper Tantrum This Morning

It was epic. It lasted for 35 minutes. She was just beside herself with hunger, but didn't know it, and she gets in this mode where she doesn't know what to do with herself. She'll ask for something and then if you give it to her, she'll say she doesn't want it and that she wants something else, and it can go on and on and on. Lots of screaming and crying.

But here's the thing: I was fine. I handled it totally fine, did not get upset and did not feel any escalation in symptoms. I think it's important just to keep perspective on things and to acknowledge the little signs of progress you notice along the way. Stress can still ratchet up my symptoms on occasion, but this has gotten so much better over time.

If you're still struggling in these kinds of situations, know that it will get better for you! It's been 8+ months since I first sought treatment, and despite some recent setbacks, I am still 85% better than I was and heading back to 90% better. I hope you all will be able to celebrate some small successes today!

Glad to hear you are heading towards that 90%! It's a big accomplishment. :)
