Molar is decayed, causing infection in my sinus?

I'm not sure exactly is the title describes what going on accurately. Well, a couple months ago I discovered that my tooth decay had 'connected' to my sinus. This was not really bothering me. A little while ago, I discovered that I could "suck out" some bad tasting/smelling stuff through that tooth. Oh and this is the tooth number 14. Okay, and even more recently, I found out that I could "push" air through it. I could forced air through my tooth with my tongue and it would go into my sinus then out my nose. When I suck on my tooth. I get a sinus pain/headache for a while then the next day the pain would subside. The tooth has not been hurting or anything. However, I am starting to get concerned because I'm able to push air through it and I just recent;y had a sinus infection in the same nostril (and I'm assuming that this is due to the tooth decay that connects with this sinus). I don't know what to do here and help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi John,

Go to the dentist. Your tooth is infected and beyond decayed. Your options would be to have a root canal (which will not cure the infection) or to remove the tooth which would cure the infection. This is not something to wait on as from the sound of things the infection has spread to your sinus.

Please don't delay!
