Advice before surgery please..

Ok Im going to try to make this short as possible.

When I was 16 now 26 I was diagnosed with chiari sygnomagilia I had decompression done but my this time i had loss the sense of touch in my left arm. But my headaches have stopped.

10yrs later my right arm is going.

I saw the neurologist at the Chiari Institute in NY and they told me my options are a shut or a neck fusion as my chiri is caused by a deformity at the top of my spinal cord.

I want to hear from people who have had the fusion and/or shut and your experience, also do you regret getting any further surgery,

I'm a fighter and i hide my disability well and people just have no idea what I have to do to function as well as I do(most the touch is gone from the left side of my body, as well as my equilibrium is totally gone, and the level of weakness I deal with), to me its not even a struggle anymore its just me doing what I need to so I can live as full of a life as possible.

Thank, you all.
Stay strong.
