I went to my grandson's high school graduation Monday evening. Well, not exactly. He lives two and a half hours away and I can't tolerate the ride. The venue is a hot spot so my daughter took her I pad and I watched it via Skype. What a thrill. Whenever a holiday or special event comes up and I can't go, I have the kids Skype me there. I am so grateful for the technology.

I have '' gone down to Tennessee'' on Christmas morning for the last few years via Skype. The kids come see me the week before Christmas but it's no big deal. I order pizza because I just can't do the big meal anymore and my son in law spends the entire time looking at his watch. It was super when it dawned on me that they could point the iPad on the Christmas tree and I could watch the activity. It made my day. You can make this work for lots of occassions.
