sleep apnea and vertigo

Hey guys several years ago (12) I was diag w sleep apnea, started using a clap and all was good. About 2 1/2 yes ago I was DX with vertigo after going through several tests to rule out several other things.the theory is the clap is putting to much pressure and increasing the vertigo. So w meds the vertigo is kept under control but I can't use the clap at all. Many by else have this situation

I'm having trouble finding anything about this ("clap") on google. Did you mean CPAP?

Doc

Oh my. Yes. Cpap

Sorry -- I guess I'm not understanding why they didn't just try reducing the pressure in your CPAP first, rather than put you on meds.

This seems to be a rare but not unknown phenomenon.
Google: cpap vertigo

I hope you'll be able to find a way to use the cpap if you need it; the possible risks of unabated apnea can be serious, but you know that.

Best Wishes,

Doc

We did turn the pressure down but it didn't ease the vertigo. My sleep Dr seems to be the only Dr that understands this but my general Dr keeps trying to force the issue. Anybody else have this issue?
