Hello

My name is Frank, nice to have found this site. Excuse my spelling if it is wrong. I am 58 yo, had a brain bleed Oct 2011. I now experience an aura that causes mental fatigue, I guess. I had one neurologist, things got worse. I ended up at the University of Iowa, things got better but I hit the end of the road. The aura comes and goes and seems related to what I am doing.
I got on here for ideas and support and maybe I can contribute.

Thanks//Frank

Hi, Frank, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you're having a tough time, but you came to a good place. I wonder if you've found our forum for Traumatic Brain Injury: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum92.html There may be some folks there who have had similar experiences.

Someone else will be along who will be more helpful than I am, but just wanted to extend a welcome. We might be in different "staterooms", but we're all in the same boat here!

Hi Frank ~ I believe you should either go BACK to the University of Iowa, or find another Neurologist. I think this needs more investigation. Now don't get scared, or anything but I do think it just needs to be looked into.

I doubt seriously that there is any more bleeding, but just to be sure you need to have it looked at. It could be something as simple as scar tissue.

I wish you the very best, Frank -- please let us know what happens, will you? I'd really appreciate it. God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee :)
