Hello!

Hi All. My name is Danielle. I suffered a Jefferson Fracture (break in 3 places) of my C1, a break of my C7 and bleeding on brain in 2 places after an exceptionally dirty hit while playing hockey over 2 years ago. I've been suffering from post concussion syndrome something awful, which has essentially put my life on hold. I've been doing PT for my neck and PCS symptoms, but it seems like I've hit a wall. I'm just here to find support, new friends and possibly new treatment ideas.

Hi and Welcome to NeuroTalk. I'm glad you found us, and I'm sure you'll like it here.

After reading your post, I think you'd benefit from visiting the Spinal Disorders forum, and also the Post Traumatic Brain Injury/Post Concussion Forum. Both these forums have great people who are supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly. You'll gain a lot of knowledge from these forums, plus make some new friends. :)

Again, welcome and I hope we hear more from you. God bless and please take care of yourself! Hugs, Lee :)
