Hi, I'm new here - some of you may know me from the old BrainTalk forums years ago. I've been disabled since the late '90s. I'm a chronic pain patient from my back surgeries, I have Myasthenia Gravis treated by IVIG and prednisone, a clotting disorder which has caused at least four DVT's and a stroke which cost me half the vision in my right eye. I've just finished having both hips and knees replaced over the past two years and most recently I had surgery three weeks ago for malignant Melanoma on my face. I have CPPD arthritis in my hands also.

Mostly, I deal with things by writing about them. I've written over 250 articles <edit> on all kinds of subjects. Writing, crochet design and my Miniature Schnauzers keep me in the game!
