What can MRI reveal?
 

I had MRI for PN yesterday. My doctor appointment is next week to discuss results. What can MRI reveal?

BTW, I requested something to calm me down as I thought I might jump from PN pain like feeling ants biting my ankles. I had Rx for Xanac.

I remember start of test and noise. I had headphones and music piped in. I requested Enya. I must have fallen asleep as I remember being rolled out and saying, "Is it over?"

It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought.

MRI was of spine.

I have had a few mris of different areas. I think there are a variety of things it can show but for me I think they were looking for a tumor,trapped nerve,growth,etc. I know at one time they were looking at if I had ms and I am not sure if that would be found in an mri but I did not.
I hope you get some answers from your doctor and the test results are ok or very easy to fix. I know sometimes for me with these tests since my condition is from the unknown why I want something to show obviously that is small and easy to fix so I can feel better.
