Rlipoic Acid
I bought it a long time ago and only took a few pills because it caused me severe heart burn, but I kept the bottle.
Well, as our bodies change, and what not, I decided to try it again. Its been 3 days and I was soooo excited, not a single blip on the radar!! UNTIL... I looked at the bottle and it EXPIRED in 2011 what???? Has it been that long since I posted here about it or did I buy an old bottle??? geeze. bummer. |
OMG I just looked up my old post here and it was July 2012!!!!!
That means I bought that stinking Drs Best Rlipoic ALREADY EXPIRED. |
It is probably still good. Those dates are not always reflective
of spoilage. Oils...they are the most likely to go bad. Aspirin products, too. Vit C will oxidize with time. Antioxidants will eventually pick up oxygen and show it somehow. The old R-form would polymerize and form a sticky non-absorbable chain. This new one is even more heat stable than the old one. Moisture could be a problem and that would leave visible signs. I put extra moisture preserving packs in all my supplements. I don't throw them away unless they are "old". You can recharge them with a hair dryer on low heat If the capsules are not discolored or clumped inside the bottle is probably still good. |
Still makes me fuming MAD.
I paid too much money for that bottle to have it already have been expired. NOTE TO SELF: always check exp. dates. :( |
