Neuro ophthalmologist?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a neuro ophthalmologist? I need a second opinion in terms of possible treatments. I was told by my neuro optometrist that I was worst case of Photosensitivity he has ever Encountered.

I live in Columbus Ohio, but I would be willing to travel, so I would prefer it be within a 5 Hour Dr. Has anyone seen my neuro ophthalmologist at the Cleveland clinic? I just glanced at Ohio State's website, and it didn't seem like there was a neuro ophthalmologist that specialized in concussions. I can't do much research because of my recent setback, so I may have to enlist my husband, but I thought I would check with you guys first.

Thanks!

What are you doing to help with your light sensitivity ?

There may not be a treatment to reduce your photo sensitivity, at least not right away. You may need more healing first. You may need to learn how to live with it and protect your eyes until you can slowly start to try expose to light again.

From my experience i feel you may need to see a neuro optometrist who knows vision therapy you can search under NORA .

Yes, I know

Thanks for replying, Mark. Yes, rest is definitely in order. I've been being really good and will continue to be for the weeks to come, but I'm trying to decide whether to do a light therapy treatment that my neuro optometrist thinks might help. I've lost confidence in him, despite him being very helpful in the past, because I believe he caused my most recent setback. He basically said that my options were to just rest for one or two years and see if that makes me better, or to try light therapy three times a week, where I would be looking at a violet light for 20 minutes each session. My Photosensitivity and eyestrain are pretty much nine out of 10 in terms of how bad it is, so I feel pretty desperate to get better. Regardless of anything, I will be waiting until I get to a more manageable pain level before I try any additional therapy, but I feel that getting a second opinion might be helpful in terms of figuring out how to proceed.
