Peripheral Neuropathy Specialists

Does anyone have a listing of PN specialists across the United States? I tried to look around, but couldn't find one. I'm looking for someone in Rhode Island.

Here you go!!!!

Even if you are not diabetic, give it a try!!!! All contact info is here!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

CNS Research, Inc., a Network of leading Neurologists in Rhode Island is participating in a global research study for individuals who have pain caused by diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The study is conducted at approximately 30 sites and will enroll close to 300 participants. The investigational medication is a non- narcotic drug and is an FDA approved medication for the treatment of epilepsy.

Dr. Peter Bellafiore is an expert in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy. The period in which participants will receive study medication will last for approximately 3 months, requiring 6 office visits. Some participants will then be allowed to continue on study medication for up to an additional six months, if they choose. Study medication, all study-related tests and examinations will be provided at no charge to participants

If you are between the ages of 18 and 75, have a tree-month history of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy and have been controlled with insulin and/or oral hypoglycaemics for at least three months, you may be eligible to participate in this research study.

If you are interested in knowing more about this research study, please

Thanks for the link. Of course, Rhode Island, being the smallest state doesn't have anyone listed. However, I'm sure I'll find someone in MA and if I don't, Mel's link (although I prob won't do the study) actually helped me to find a person very close to my area who does a lot with neuropathy. So, I'm going to call and see if he's a specialist. Thanks so much!
