Sertraline ok for those with PN?

I have not been diagnosed with CMT, but I am keeping it in the back of my mind if my symptoms progress. I was reading a list of meds on the CMT site, and it mentioned Sertraline (Zoloft--an SSRI antidepressant) as a possible risk for those with CMT. I am on this, but had thought before reading this of trying to wean myself off.

Anyone have any info. about this to offer up? I did a search and didn't find any previous posts.

Thanks!

It's in the uncertain or minor risk category. There can be an interaction between these antidepressants (Zoloft, Prozac, Paxil, and Luvox) and dextromethorphan and/or pseudoephrine found in over the counter cold remedies. It can cause excessive serotonergic activity.
