Getting Balcofen

Talking to my primary care doctor after having a conversation with a person from Peer Connection with MS Lifelines. Got my prescription of Balcofen that I'm getting this afternoon. I walked 2 miles two days ago, then took my Rebif shot that night, and well yesterday and today I've felt horrible.

Has anyone tried Balcofen for pain?

I only took Baclofin for spasticity, took Neurontin for pain.
Neither worked for me.

I took baclofen for spasticity but that helped relieve some pain caused by spastic muscles.

Baclofen worked for me for two years. It helped with tight muscles and spasms. Keep walking though, that should help with weight loss and strength and might help with spasticity too.

Baclofen is one of the few medications FDA approved for Spasticity (muscle cramps, stiffness/tightness, and pain associated with those symptoms).

Baclofen is a muscle relaxer.

If your pain is due to Spasticity Baclofen should help, however, not everyone will have the same experience with Baclofen.

I have used Baclofen off and on through the years...it works great for me. I have used Baclofen 2 different ways (neuro approved): I have taken Baclofen on a daily basis but I have also used it as needed. Both ways have been helpful for me. I have found, even without spasticity, Baclofen has helped my neuropathic pain (legs).

The preferred use is daily. Baclofen needs to be increased slowly and decreased slowly.
