symptom tracker
 
Is anyone familiar with a symptom tracker tool? An app or something that makes it easy to keep track of the patterns of your symptoms?

Aside from an increase in symptoms when I do too much exercise, I have never noticed specific effects of other things like sugar, gluten, alcohol, etc. I have noticed that sometimes my pain will decrease significantly for a few days and I will foolishly believe things are improving, but this always seems to come before it gets worse, meaning it gets worse than it was before. :(

Now, after reading some of the posts here, I'm wondering if I need to pay closer attention.

A lot of us--
 
--have developed out own symptom diaries, as these allow for somewhat more subjective impressions than a lot of the more codified symptom tracker programs, but one can use whatever one is comfortable with.

I do often recommend the Liza Jane spreadsheets for tracking test results over time, which can be just as important as symptom tracking:
