Contact info ??
I was wondering if anyone would like to share contact info?
- in case of emergency or if someone is off the forum for an extended time one person could make a call to check up on a member? Privately - off forum of course. This contact info would be kept private and not released to others without explicit permission. I know a few already share info but if anyone is interested in doing this let me know or we can discuss it more here. |
good idea
This sounds like a good idea Jo.
I'm trying to figure out how to send you a PM? Martha |
Great idea!
A sort of 'In Case of Emergency' repository for members phone numbers. With contact info only accessible to the Mods.
With all the talk about breathing problems and me feeling as awful as I do, it made me wonder: who would contact the Forum if I were to have a lung collapse and die? I think sharing info can be a life-saver to many of us. In time, I'll be able to train a family member to come here. But for now if something were to happen I'd simply appear to have 'dropped off the net'. I'd want people to know what happened. ya know? Like say - if I didn't post or click any "Thanks" buttons for over 30 days that could trigger a phone call from the mods. I'd leave my cell and a family members' or friend's number. Anne |
a personal & maybe a secondary { trusted family or friend} email address would be good too.
I could send a email first and if no reply in a few days then make a call. When BT crashed for so long last year I wished I had asked for more email addresses from all of you. If I had those back then I could have sent my little website /forum link to many of you. {It is in my profile now.} |
