New Diagnosis in Dallas

I was recently diagnosed with TOS and have started PT. I've been going for 2 1/2 weeks and have not noticed any changes. Now I know it can take a little longer but I was wondering if there is anyone with a recommendation on PTs in the Dallas area that have experience with TOS. I was diagnosed by Dr. Gregory Pearl and would rather not go the surgery route unless I need to. PT actually makes my symptoms worse on most days so I'm wondering if the current therapist is not doing things quite right for me.

Brief history on me: I having been having pain in my right neck, shoulder, and upper chest since May of 2012. The pain in everyday with occasional numbness and tingling down my arm into my ring and pinky fingers. I will also get bad headaches that can put me in bed. Symptoms have been slowly worsening while I was trying to find out what was going on. After numerous visits to neurologists and failed pain injections and epidural blocks, I ended up at Dr. Pearl's office, even though the 2 neuros I saw didn't think it could be TOS.

I believe mine resulted for repetitive stress at work (which I no longer do) and caring for my then infant child. Feeling overwhelmed and want to give this PT a good shot. Any suggestions or recommendations are much appreciated!

Hi Take a look at this list. Alot of us have found good pts for TOS thru this. Also ask dr. Pearl for more referrals he is one of the better TOS Dr's around. so you are in good hands. PT has helped me but it has taken going to several before finding the right one. I think you should give them 4 weeks max. good Luck!
