Since everyone is different, tell me
Tell me your best/favorite supplement that you feel helps you the most with burning.
Mine use to be benfotiamine but it doesn't work as great as it use to. Now the magnesium lotion is my go to, but the best thing for me is having a fan blowing on my feet...inconvenient but life saver. Whats your go to supplement for burning? |

I think for me burning is triggered by certain food intolerances.
MSG, nightshades and some spices. I also get major foot symptoms from red wine. Also the magnesium lotion is by far the best also for me. Better than oral magnesium, because parts of the body may have reduced circulation (esp the feet), and oral mag cannot reach them. The lotion therefore bypasses this situation and opens up the blood vessels locally. When I have terrible burning (sometimes in hot weather) I use Biofreeze. It always works for me. |
Im praying hard today for my feet, I am going out on the lake on a boat and it is 95 and hot here. Days like this are miserable no matter what, but on a boat in hot hot sun...not good. I am taking a spray bottle so I can spray water on them when I can't put them in the lake.
I hope my day is not ruined. I got no sleep last night for fear. |
Hi Stacy
Have you ever tried bio freeze? This works pretty good for me. I also stay with B12 shots. My PN is better. ginnie

Re: ascorbic acid mentioned in that same thread... I don't recall if I've mentioned it to you or not, but I can't tolerate ascorbic acid either, however I do quite well on Ester C, which is calcium based. No heartburn at all. Doc |
Well yesterday was ok, of course when I was swimming it was heaven, but it's getting to the point any time spent outdoors when its hot is difficult for me, the heat makes my feet burn. The spray bottle worked as long as there was a breeze hitting them but sitting still with no breeze meant it didn't help for long.
The Rlipoic caused me hearburn HOWEVER I posted not long ago that I found out the Ripoic was EXPIRED when I purchased it, so maybe that cause a problem???? I never realized it was expired...until I tried taking it again many months later, I thought perhaps it would work the second time around so tried it again and happened to notice it was expired so I looked up my old post here for the date I posted and realized it was expired before I ever even bought it by a year!!! THAT IS INFURIATING. Even if it was not the cause, it makes me mad to spend money on EXPIRED product. #rantover I will try Rlipoic acid again for me, maybe things have changed enough with my diet that I can take it. I don't have acid reflux much anymore. I know we talk OFTEN of all these tried and true things but we change, our symptoms change, what use to work doesn't and vice versa, so it's good for me to go over what works for others to refresh and retry things for me. Biofreeze has not been a great help for me. But maybe one day it will, lol. Benfotiamine was a life saver when I first took it now nothing. I think I have to change often, as something will work a while then I get a tolerance to it and have to change. Mag lotion helped at first great and now not so much, guess I used it so much it wore off. I will try another bottle of Ripoic since that is what many say works for them. thanks so much everyone |
