Does anyone use Opera browser?Other questions...

Hi All,

I have used IE and it was way to slow, tried Firefox and was happy with that. When I reinstalled XP I decided to try Opera. It's OK, but I'm trying to figure out whether it isn't as nice or whether I just need to get used to it. What are others thoughts on this?

Also, after reinstalling, I seem to be having some cursor problems. When I type in a paragraph, sentence or whatever, my cursor will jump around to another paragraph or into the middle of a sentence. I have to stop, correct and put my cursor back in place. Does anyone know what is going on with that? For example, in writing this it probably jumped around on me 5-6 times or more. It is frustrating and makes for a lot of mistakes and corrections.

Also, what is a good way to back up drivers, software, etc. that I downloaded online etc? When I reinstalled my OS there was a lot of things missing that I had to download online. I have dial-up and many programs can take hours to get.

Thanks for your help!

I haven't tried Opera {Firefox fan LOL}
why not go back to Firefox??
Netscape is nice too-the built in security features are nice

when i download programs or files or drivers I save the downloaded files in a folder named dnloads. Then if i need to reinstall i still can use those.
but in case of a hard drive or system crash you need to have them on a spare HD or copied on to a disk or CD.

I had to redo my whole system from scratch about 2 months ago so I know what you are talking about.

But I haven't copied/backed my stuff up yet either.
