Question after tooth extraction

I posted here a few weeks ago. I got a tooth extracted number 13 and it's been about a week no pain really but i got some yellow stuff where the hole is. I was wondering if this was new tissue forming or infection. Tooth 12 has a huge hole on the back side of it and it's been hurting im getting it filled tomorrow. Is the yellow stuff inside the tooth normal? I know where the hole is the gum didn't really form a perfect circle. Wondering what to do.

Here is a picture of my tooth. I am wondering if a filling can save it since it's never had one.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for posting this picture.
Yes, that is a large cavity but it depends how deep it is as to if it can be filled without the nerve being involved.
It looks like the extraction site has not healed closed yet. Usually it is best to wait until the hole has closed before drilling into a tooth next to the extraction site. The air from the drill can cause debris to blow up into the socket which could cause an infection, etc.
Make sure your dentist looks at this site before he attempts to work on this other tooth.

Thanks for the info Bryanna. I have had a bad sinus infection can that tooth be the problem of it? If it's filled will those sinus symptoms go away? The tooth i got pulled was abscessed and it hurt bad but i didn't know this tooth had a hole so it could been a combination. I want the sinus infection to go away but it hasn't even with antibiotics i took before the tooth to be pulled. AI did notice once i got 13 pulled it poured out yellow pus and blood so it must have been badly infection. My sinus are still yellow mucus and in the morning it's chunky. I'm just trying to get back to being my normal self and wonder what all i need to do to get that way as far as my teeth go.

Jay,

Your infected tooth could have caused a sinus infection. It is not a good sign when the extraction site is oozing pus. Have you gone back to the dentist who pulled the tooth and told him you had that happening?

Please make sure the dentist knows what has occurred since the extraction as the socket and bone may still be infected.... thus the chronic sinus infection.

Thanks Bryanna, the oral surgeon i went to is suppose to be the best. I don't think the extraction site is oozing pus but i know my sinuses are draining yellow stuff like crazy. It's almost made me feel sick. Is it ok to put a temporary filling in the tooth myself till i can get to the dentist? I put one in until them but im wondering if i should also restart the antibiotics they gave me from the beginning because i still do not feel 100% and it's summer and i just want my life back from all this agony.
