Serenity...
 

When I woke-up
This morning
I went into my
Living room
And, sat on the couch
Near the window
It was open
And, I listened
To the sound
Of birds chirping
And, breezes blowing
Softly, around
The shadow
Of the leaves
Cast themselves
On to my blinds
Then, I walked into
My kitchen
What I saw there
Was my bamboo stalk
Resting, against
The window sheer
A stream of sunlight
Beaming onto my floor
I took in these peaceful sights
And, tried to go outside
I wanted to smell spring
But, instead,
I was still upset
I can remember
How I used to enjoy
These things
And, I wonder
How long it will be
Before
Serenity
Will come back to me...
