Experienced TOS surgeon in Michigan?

Hi everyone!
I have VTOS. About 1.5 years ago I had a thrombolysis and balloon angioplasty. I then took Coumadin for about 6 months, and a daily aspirin for another 6 months. I used to be an avid athlete and somehow I thought and believed (even more so hoped) if I would stop my obsession with sport, things would just go back to normal again. Unfortunately, they never did.

So now I'm looking for an experienced vascular surgeon in Michigan. I don't think my insurance would cover one out of state.
I did check the list of doctors on here, but it doesn't really tell you how experienced they are. How can I find out how many thoracic outlet surgeries each of them has done so far?
After reading many of thoses posts on here, I learned that good outcome of the surgery depends a lot on your surgeon, so I really want to make sure that I pick the right one.
The whole ordeal sounds scary enough, but to end up with someone that doesn't know what he/she is doing, THAT sounds even more scary :(
