I have finally found a doctor. Now I'm just waiting to get into see the doc. I go the 31st to disability court hoping and praying I get it. Now I'm looking for a neurologist for these migraines I get them couple time a week and they last from 2 or more days at a time. hope all is good

I am glad you found a doc. Sorry to hear about the migraines. I get them too. (There is significant comorbidity with bipolar - I read this years ago.) I often get one spanning 24 hours-ish. Occasionally one will run 3 days but I've not had one longer than that. I've had successive ones without break, but I figure they are separate attacks if they switch sides (not sure on that).

A severe migraine attack lasting more than 72 hours is considered status migrainosus:

You should go to urgent care or ER for this. I don't know what they do - probably give you a shot to stop it.

I hope you find a neuro soon. I also need a new one. Mine is too far away and there were other issues too.

Good luck with the doctor your headed too.

And with finding a neuro. They are hard to find.

And finding one that works well with you is even harder.

I also have migraines and I am doing well on the medicine I'm on.

my migraines have gotten worse since the car accident which is almost a year ago they seem to be lasting longer and longer and I cant get any relief from them. this last one I should have went to the er but I just said forget it to my husband and stayed at home in bed. It sure didn't help my mood was in a horrible mood for almost a week cause of it.

I am sorry that your migraines have gotten worse.
Wish there was some easier treatment....
