Euphoria after Cortisone

I had Cortisone injected into some nerves on Monday. Yesterday I felt fantastic and today I am really down. Of course I have no idea how many milligrams was injected but could nerve root injections be a big enough dose to give you temporary euphoria?

I don't have answer to that but I'm happy that you had a good day yesterday :).
It has been said that twice in row is a coincidence, thrice is a habbit and more than that is trend. Maybe see if it happens again...and again...and again.

With love, Erika

IMHO, I think that when we are in pain for so long and all of a sudden, for whatever reason, the pain is gone, we are euphoric. It is so energizing and such a good feeling to be out of pain. I hope you enjoyed your pain free day. The down feeling may also be related to having that pain free day. When we get the relieve we want it to last, but when it doesn't we feel kind of down about it.

I hope this continues and over time your injections last longer.:grouphug:
