hi guys. your words are so kind. there are people that care when it seems everyone has forgotten about me. I started 60 mgs Cymbalta yesterday and am hoping to get some relief from nerves that feel like they are going crazy and a surreal dizziness. i'm just trying to hold myself together. thanks so much for your responses. have been on the couch 2 days too sick and nauseous to get up. I hope the Cymbalta helps. I wonder what the max is on it.

checking in

Just checking in to be sure you are OK. How is the Cymbalta going? Is the sick and nauseous from the Cymbalta or from the pain? or both? I hope you start feeling better. I feel really bad...It is my son who is going thru this...not me. I guess I am just along for the ride...in the drivers seat.:winky:

I know its your son. I pray for him. I thank all of you guys for caring. I am not doing so well yet, am nauseous from maybe the Cymbalta, not sure yet. have been nauseous and dizzy a lot lately. just ca't seem to get better :( I hope all of you are doing well.

Nausea

I used to be on Cymbalta and I felt worse then I did before I started. I am on Lyrica now and that does nothing by mess with my sight. But I am constantly nauseous, 24/7. I take phenergan 25mg for it and it helps me not feel as sick. Maybe if you haven't tried it you could ask your doctor about it. Good luck!!

I don't know if Cymbalta takes a while to start working but I am severely nauseous and confused and have cold sweats. this happens once every few months since I got sick. so scary

mouse1 07-25-2013 02:25 PM

Yes, Cymbalta causes Nausea and Dizzyness initially, it can also cause sweating, so do not fret. I had these side effects to start with but they will go away, it takes about a month to truely feel the benefit so stick with it. I hoped it helps you, it was the turning point in my PCS recovery.

thanks mouse...I will give it time as I have nothing to lose. hopefully the symptoms will go away sooner than later
