My Service Dog Monty
Hi, it's been awhile since I've posted. I have been visiting and reading posts.
As a lot of you know, I have a wonderful SD named Monty. Three weeks ago, the vet found a mass in one of his **** glands. The following week, he performed surgery. The biopsy was apocrine adenocarcinoma of the **** sac. Dr. Finkler was unable to remove all of the cancerous tumor. I opted for no radiation or chemo. His vet said that his prognosis is a little over a year, but of course we're hoping for much more time with Monty. Please keep him in your thoughts. We have been partners for 5 1/2 years, and I can't imagine him gone from our lives. Thanks. |

May the Lord be with you all. I remember when you got him. We named him our Mascot and he will forever be.:hug: I love that dog and I will pray for many non-suffering happy years for him to come. |
Prayers for Monty and for you, Mary Ann. He'll more than likely do better without all the invasive treatments. Sometimes our furry friends prove the medical community all wrong when it comes to their health. I'm praying Monty will do just that. :smileypray:

I'm so sorry about Monty. :( I hope that he makes a miracle turnaround and defies the diagnosis and will be with you for a long time. Even if that doesn't happen though, I know you and he will enjoy the rest of your time together. :hug:
