So, i messed up...can this be reversed?
So, i picked up the nasty habit of smoking cigarettes a little over a month ago. This is a habit i kicked almost 3 years ago. At first, i felt fine but a month later I've discovered that it's really taking a toll on my cognitive symptoms...which are already majorly impaired. I've already made the decision to quit...I'm just wondering if I'll ever feel better again. Has the damage been done and I'm just screwed? Or will this eventually pass as the weeks go by?
It was bad decision making to pick the habit back up knowing my brain is already struggling. Stupid me. |

Huge mistake. I have to quit all over again. Last time I quit, I did use chantix and I have to say it helped a LOT. And yes, after a few months of no cigarettes, I was feeling better. I'm gearing up to quit again, only getting out of the way some surgical issues, as well as changeover in 4 specialists who left the area. Once that is behind me, cold turkey for me a LOTS of fresh veggies. And never again "just one". There is no such thing as "just one" for a former cigarette smoker oy vey we live and learn P.S. Tigger was fine, the bugger was hiding in apt. He waited until CSI got there and doggone it, went to the bedroom for her to dust for prints and Tiggers was all spread out on the bed like sunbathing, then he proceded to tell her all about what had happened...um, except no "cat translator" |
