Pn health scams or not?!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I keep seeing this intriguing commercial on TV, which does not give a particular address or medical establishment, but claims of providing healing treatments for PN of many different types.

I have not found that commercial on you-tube just yet, so I can't provide a link to it. However, I do have the phone number (I did not call it) which is featured on the TV commercial. (It is here, below)

Neuropathy Aid Claims: Is this a Scam?

*admin edit*

Let me know if you think this is a so-called healing-Scam or not. I write about these things, because I think it's unfortunate to fall into desperate "Snake-Oil" schemes, when we pn sufferers are already belittled by the disease.

Who knows, perhaps there is some credibility to these guys' claims? I do not know. I hope we can use this thread here to spotlight which claims are credible and which are frauds. I feel this is important knowledge for us.

Hi Jesse

I would not trust the TV Jesse. PN can be serious, and there is a lot of snake oil about. People make lots of claims they don't back up with science. If your doctor told you about it, well, that would be different. Don't trust your health to someone you don't know. Play it safe. ginnie:hug:

We typically discuss various things
here, but refrain from labeling them as
"frauds".

It is useful for readers here to discuss potential
Success and/or failure. Everyone's opinion
is worth reading about.

Trying to confine postings to one thread
usually does not work in the long run.
We have a search function to find other

What was the name of that product or treatment?
That might be more helpful than a phone #.. if they only gave a # in the commercial then it does seem questionable..

I searched that phone # and no clear information comes up..

Yeah - that's the entire point. The reason why I had posted the phone number, was because it was the only thing on that TV commercial (and trust me, you will see it, if you hadn't already) and thus, it makes me wary of its credibility.

I also want to make a point clear, too. I am NOT saying this or any other treatment center is a fraud or not - in fact, what I'm actually doing here is asking what the forum here thinks about it.

I still believe it is very important to know these things. Yet I do understand the concerns. :o

Some commercials on TV from drug
Companies only give a website or
Phone number. Also some devices do
this. But they typically mention the
Drug. Some psoriasis ones do not
Mention the drug.

These commercials talk about the medical
Condition only. Typically they are for
Studies or very expensive things.

Why don't YOU call the number since you
saw the ads more than once?
