c5-c6 fusion result

Can someone tell me what this means and is the fusion most likely on its way to failing.

CT Scan C5/C6 Anterior Fusion: There is bone density within the cage, but a thin bony cleft is seen at the midportion of the cage, suggesting incomplete bony fusion.

This CT scan was taken 12 months post op.

Thank You

I had surgery on c4 and c5. I had a titanium plate screwed in the bones. I didn't even have to wear a brace after surgery except the soft one when I was in the car. It's been very successful. Good luck to you.
