feeling better

even though i am probably going to have 16 teeth pulled in a couple of weeks i am definitively feeling so much better but exhausted. I like my new dentist so much. I think he is adorable and if I were thirty years younger and he wasn't married i could really go for him. He is only 34 but has gray hair mostly and an extremely young face. His picture on the internet doesn't do him justice. He exudes good vibrations and is extremely comforting.....a dream....with a nice sense of humor. He also told me i have enough bone in my lower jaw that if i needed implants they would probably work. I thought of this in case my partials only last five years and to avoid a full denture he would attack a partial to implants. He asked me to trust him to chose the color and i agreed. He said i wouldn't want bright white which would be a dead giveaway they were false lol.
He explains everything as he goes along. I had an appt. this past friday for more impressions and will have another one for five minutes next friday. after that one i will have the big one where the teeth are pulled and the remainder cleaned and the dentures.....i keep on wondering how Pam is doing with hers.

I bought gorilla glue and Maria glued the umbrella stand together. I am afraid to touch it but so far so good.

Sounds so good Bobby.

I'm so glad you are calmer now.

Bobby.

this sounds sooooo much better... :) This dentist sounds great!

I really like how closely he is working with you. No comparison to the whole getting shuffled between different people at the other place.

I am glad about the umbrella stand too! What a treasure Maria is! :)

I am so much calmer now. I was taking extra risperdal which was helping a bit but i was really terrified. The idea of going without teeth for over two months and then having to have full dentures on the bottom which are notoriously difficult to wear was more than i could handle

Maria is a treasure. I had the guts to move the umbrella stand today and it didn't fall apart.I am so nearsighted that from most views from my apartment i don't see the white lines following the cracks. I guess we should have been more careful about the extra glue. I guess it expands with water. I am so happy I didn't throw it out.
there is no comparison between the two places. at bellevue i didn't know what was happening When the dentists disagreed with each other was unsettling.Having to go so long without teeth was so horrific. they owe me money now too and i hope to get it back. It is a few hundred dollars.

I am still reading a lot the quote from the bible that
Steve gave me. It is so wonderful.

Bobby

If Bellevue gives you a real hard time about the money.

Take your friend with you for moral support.

Steve gave Bobby a quote that Bobby is reading a lot. That quote is from The Bible.

I got a chuckle because I was reminded of some of the ambiguities we dealt with in Natural Language Processing (a branch of Artificial Intelligence).

For your amusement:

The man struck the woman with the wooden leg.

-- The man took up a wooden leg and struck the woman with it.
-- The woman, one of whose legs was wooden, was struck by the man.

Time flies like an arrow.

-- Measure the speed at which flies travel, in the same way as you'd measure the speed of an arrow.
-- "Time flies" (a hypothetical insect) have a liking for arrows.

Fruit flies like a banana.

(This one and the one above are sometimes combined)
-- Fruit travels through the air in the way that a banana does.
-- "Fruit flies" (flies that breed near fruit) enjoy bananas.

Some of these have alternative meanings besides those I listed.

I did a quick search and found some of these collected in Wiki... for more fun with syntax, goto ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syntact...guity#Examples

Enjoy! :D
