I've Posted Photos of the Caribbean
For any of those interested, I've posted about 30 of over 900 pix we shot while visiting Roatan Honduras in the Caribbean this past July/Aug.
A dear friend and his wife retired to the island. He built a beautiful house for her (he was/is a contractor), right on the beach/reef - oceanside, about 8 years ago. Sadly, she passed away this past April - so we decided to go visit him and be there for him for a while. Our youngest son stayed a week longer than we did. I was unaware as I posted the pix - the order would be in reverse, so the shots on page 2, off the wingtips of our plane on arrival, are the beginning shots of the series. Go to my page and look for 'albums'. Open.... 'Roatan Honduras 2013' Go to page 2 of the pix- first. |

Wonderful photos, Bob! Loved them all.. And the food
Looks yummy too LOL. I have to ask too if you are on a D3 supplement? Or have you been tested for levels? One photo suggested This to me.. Your handsome portrait in fact. ;) |

Glad you liked the pictures. I've got hundreds more !! My Laura wants to make prints of all of 'em and send to her Mom in Missouri. A vexing task. I do take 1000-2000 I.U. of D3 on a 5 out of 7 day basis. Why do you ask? Sumpin' amiss? I try to stay out of sun for skin reasons, tho. Always wear a hat fer me bald cranium and wear a shirt, even when swimming (helps hide the belly overlap, too!) |
I just noticed the bowing of your lower
Legs, Bob. This can happen with aging, but also Happens if osteoporosis is in progress. In males testosterone protects men into Their 70's so: You might investigate a testosterone Test, a Vit D test to get a more accurate Result to base your dosing on, and/or Evaluation for Paget's disease. Paget's is uncommon and often neglected by doctors. Elevated alkaline phosphotase Is one indicator. Also lots of spurring of bones and increasing head size (requiring Larger hat sizes) are also signs. Paget's can go undiagnosed in many people And is only treated when bone remodeling Gets severe. This is just an observation I had from That one photo-- and not a criticism. But your falls are concerning too IMO. |
