Ever heard the term "multipotentialite?"

I recently came across a blog written by a self-described multipotentialite. Wikipedia describes it as
Quote:

“An educational and psychological term referring to a pattern found among intellectually gifted individuals. [Multipotentialites] generally have diverse interests across numerous domains and may be capable of success in many endeavors or professions, they are confronted with unique decisions as a result of these choices.”
The blog writer describes it as a gift, the "ability" to explore many ideas or interests, often leaving one when a new one comes along. However, it seems to me that it is a new term for inability to stay on task. However, I am here to see if anyone has ever heard of or been described by this term.

I have never heard of this term  but it is interesting nonetheless.

I have many interests in a lot of different subjects across the spectrum, but I never heard of it being an actual term.

Looking at the definition you provided it does kind of sound like an ADHD like of not being able to stay on task. However I found a website where it is dedicated to creativity of that sort of learning style. However they also admit they tend to get 'bored' with things. But the way they describe things is quite interesting...

Multipotentialites don’t define “finishing” the way a specialist (and indeed, most of society) does. We learn what we came to learn and then move on to the next interest. This may not always look like “finishing” to the outside world, but it is.
