TOS diagnosis? and testing?

Is there a list of the tests that are down in association with TOS?

It was suggested to me that I have a “Venogram under fluoroscopy with thoracic maneuvers”.
I see another test listed as an ”Angiogram of the subclavian artery”.

and of course there is the general MRI.

I have very limited income, so i need to choose tests wisely.

Trying to get a picture of what test would be appropriate for bilateral shoulder pain with swelling of the left supraclavicular region.

Thanks.

J.

A physical therapist can do a variety of tests on you. My PT only charges $40/hr.

Look up terms like Adson's test, Costoclavicular test, Allen maneuver, etc. A decent PT will perform various tests on you to verify if you have TOS.

Does TOS even show up on things like MRI?

a member put together this list a few years ago -

There may be new things since then..

Rarely, unless there is a anomaly of some sort.
Extra cervical rib, larger than normal structures etc.

It is usually standard procedure to get an MRI to check for/and rule out any possible spinal /structural causes for the pain & symptoms.
