Supplements for brain inflammation

I recently started working with a chiropractic neurologist, and his theory is that PCS is caused by an inflammatory cascade in the brain that doesn't stop and prevents the brain from healing. He ran some tests on me which indicated that I have brain inflammation (specifically, high glutamate and kynurenic acid levels).

He normally uses Neuroflam (by Apex Energetics) which contains curcumin, catechins from green tea, resveratrol, and other herbs, to stop the inflammation. Unfortunately, I am unable to tolerate this supplement (for reasons I won't bore you with).

Does anyone know of other supplements that are good for reducing brain inflammation? I'm already taking fish oil.

Thanks for your help.

There is a great vitamin supplement thread at the top of this forum.

I focused on complex B (b6 and 12), curcumin (as a stand alone supplement; available through pharmaca.com http://www.pharmaca.com/Single-Herba...1-5129/Product), and vitamin D.

Never estimate food- raspberries, blue berries, pork/salmon, kale- can be though of feeding the brain. There was a posting of brain nutrition somewhere in this forum....

:) Best of luck to you!
